As others have noted, LSR was recorded live at the 7th St Entry
in Minneapolis. The date was 15 Aug 1981, the final show of the
Children's Crusade tour. The tracks were mixed at Blackberry
Way in Sep 1981. A recording of the second set is believed extant,
but is not in circulation at this time.
Anyone interested in Husker billia should prowl used record stores
in search of the original New Alliance release of this record,
which contains a lyric sheet with tour dates and artwork by Grant.
They're around. You may even get lucky and pick it up for a couple
of bucks. If the store owner knows what it is, though, expect
to fork over $15-$30 for a copy--in which case you want to make
damn sure the lyric sheet is in there before paying collectorscum
prices.
